Those who know Jayme know that he lived every single day intentionally loving Jesus and others, most especially his wife Kelley, and their sons Shane and Colin. He loved and cared deeply for each person he met and interacted with. He was known for storming the gates of hell, leading others towards Jesus at all times and living each day focused on serving others (oh and lots of pranks and shenanigans). We know Jay had a way of making people feel incredibly seen and valued, so it is no surprise that this loss has shaken our community and thousands of lives, but none more so than Kelley, Shane and Colin.
In Jayme's own words, shared online on January 26, 2020,
"Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us. Make today count. Love fiercely. Jesus please fix the broken things of this world. ‘Oh Death where is your sting? Oh grave where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. BUT thanks be to God who gives us victory through Jesus.’ In other words… death doesn’t have the final word.”
